Belgian-born Madeleine Onclinx moved to São Paulo, Brazil, in the early sixties. An executive of BFB - a subsidiary of Crédit Lyonnais - the bulk of her activities at the bank was related to foreign commerce.

After retiring from BFB, she founded MTO in 1991 and was appointed as the representative of the Port of Antwerp in Brazil (www.portofantwerp.be). An active member of the Belgian-Luxemburger-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo, she is an ex-president of the latter and was (1984/98) appointed as Adviser on Foreign Commerce in Belgium.

President (2007/2008) of the São Paulo-Avenida Paulista Rotary Club.
