Sergio Muniz de Souza graduated from the University of São Paulo Law School and pursued post-graduate studies at the Universities of Chicago and Pennsylvania. After a varied career in university teaching and law (Baker, McKenzie), he was a director of major multinational companies, among which Perkins, Ingersoll-Rand and Caterpillar. In 1980 he established his own firm, MDS, which specializes in international commerce, organizational restructuring, strategic communication and crisis management.
Founder and the only Latin American member of ICN - International Consultants Network, he was a Director of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) and is a Vice-President of the Brazilian-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and a member of BELGALUX.
A Rotarian since 1969, he is a past-president of the Rotary Club de São Paulo-Jardim América.
